Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Question: The number one question I receive from reader is how do I receive help in my local area by an advisor who knows the concepts covered in the book?

Answer: If you would like help from an advisor in your local area who uses the tools discussed in this book, please click here to fill out the appropriate form.

Question: I'm 65 years old with most of my money in stocks and mutual funds.  I've lost a lot of money in recent years and I'm looking for ways to make sure I do not run out of money in retirement.  Will your book help me?

Answer: Absolutely.  You will learn in the last two chapters of the book about a wealth building tool where your money will never go backwards due to stock market downturns and where the gains (up to a cap) will be locked in annually.  Additionally, I will also discuss a tool that will guarantee you a 7% rate of return (accumulation value) coupled with a guaranteed lifetime income you will never outlive.  At age 70, the income benefit would be 6%. I think that will fit your needs quite well.  If you'd like to talk with a local advisor about the topics covered in the book, please feel free to e-mail roccy@retiringwithoutrisk.com and I'd be happy to refer you to an advisor in your local area.

QuestionAre tax-deferred 401(k) plans/IRAs tax favorable or tax hostile?

Answer: For most readers tax-deferred plans will be more tax-hostile than tax-favorable.  This answer is counter to what the American public has been told for years, but the numbers are clear and they do not lie.  I have an entire section in Retiring Without Risk where I give readers the indisputible math and an alternative wealth building tool for those under the age of 60.
